DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” el_class=”single_event_top” z_index=””][vc_column css_animation=”fadeInUp” width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Past Exhibit\n  Embracing Art XXI\n  \n  \n  Apr 29–Jun 3\, 2023\n  Carnegie Visual Arts Center\n  \n	[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text] \nThe Carnegie Visual Arts Center presents the 2st annual exhibit Embracing Arts\, A Coming Together of Amateur & Professional Artists from April 29th-June 3\, 2023. \nEvents to be held in celebration of this exhibit are: \nCarnegie 20th Birthday & Garden Party\, Saturday\, April 29th\, 1-3:00\nJoin us for a birthday treat in the Gallery as we open the Embracing Art exhibit and plant our Natural Dye & Pollinator Gardens.  On the lawn\, there will be a Plant Sale to benefit Camp Carnegie\, a Kona Ice truck\, kid’s art activities\, pup cups & a dog agility course\, & plein air painting.  \nEmbracing Art XXI  Open House & Awards Presentation\,\nTuesday\, May 2nd\, 10:00-5:00\nAll-day Open House and winners of the Embracing Art exhibit will be announced in the Gallery by Executive Director\, Kim Mitchell at 12:15. \nArtist Reception\, Friday\, May 5th\, 6:00-7:30 pm\nJoin us for the Artists’ Reception of Embracing Art\, A Coming Together of Amateur and Professional Artists. Members-FREE and Guests-$5. Appetizers and cash bar are available. \nEmbracing Art is an annual juried exhibit featuring works by North Alabama-connected artists and was the inaugural exhibit for the Carnegie Visual Arts Center in April 2003. The exhibit includes works in multiple media including pencil\, watercolor\, oil\, acrylic\, clay\, and mixed media.
