As an Army wife\, DeAnn has lived in various parts of the United States\, providing her with rich and diverse experiences that deeply influence her art. Her background and life experiences inform her subject matter\, which often explores the beauty of nature and the environment and the complexity of human emotions and relationships. Her favorite subjects to photograph and paint include birds of prey\, sunrises\, and sunsets.
