DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” el_class=”single_event_top” z_index=””][vc_column css_animation=”fadeInUp” width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Past Event\, Exhibit\n  Embracing Art XXII\n  \n  \n  Apr 16–May 26\, 2024\n  Carnegie Visual Arts Center\n  \n	[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text] \nThe Carnegie Visual Arts Center presents the 22nd annual exhibit Embracing Arts\, A Coming Together of Amateur & Professional Artists from April 16th-May 25th\, 2024. \nEvents to be held in celebration of this exhibit are: \nEmbracing Art XXII  Open House & Awards Presentation\,\nTuesday\, April 16th\, 10:00-5:00\nAll-day Open House and winners of the Embracing Art exhibit will be announced in the Gallery by Executive Director\, Kim Mitchell at 12:15. \nArtist Reception\, Friday\, April 19th\, 6:00-7:30 pm\nJoin us for the Artists’ Reception of Embracing Art\, A Coming Together of Amateur and Professional Artists. Members-FREE and Guests-$5. Appetizers and a cash bar will be available. \nEmbracing Art is an annual juried exhibit featuring works by North Alabama-connected artists and was the inaugural exhibit for the Carnegie Visual Arts Center in April 2003. The exhibit includes works in multiple media including pencil\, watercolor\, oil\, acrylic\, clay\, and mixed media.
