From her youth, Jennifer Mumby has been active in art and design, studying art since her early teens with various artists and gifted teachers. Following this path, she earned a Communications degree with minors in Art and English and then worked in Advertising, Graphic Design and print production in Nashville after college. She studied for a number of years with Georgia artist Damon Carter along with a number of other local artists.
In the fall of 2019, Jennifer relocated to Huntsville, AL where she is continuing to paint and grow her skills as an artist. She is a member of The Arthouse Group, Act II Paint Group, and studies regularly with Jennifer Stottle Taylor and other well-known artists in the north Alabama and middle Tennessee region. She works primarily in oil, focusing on subject matter that tells a story or inspires the viewer to write their own story. The paintings and stories she enjoys most involve her love of travel, home, good wine and good friends.
