Geppe Hernandez

Geppe works primarily with acrylic and layered paper, using fire as a tool and symbol to create worn, ethereal surfaces– exploring the unseen layers beneath human and urban experience. His textured abstractions mirror the shifting balance between control and surrender, surface, and depth with meditative restraint.

“My work speaks to the fragile harmony that exists when creation and decay coexist. I paint to confront impermanence, to honor both the turbulence and quiet that define human experience. I am drawn to the fragile harmony that exists when creation and decay coexist.” – Geppe Hernandez
