Artist Statement:
“I believe the very nature of life is expansive, that just as an acorn has tree-ness within it, we too have the inherent need to expand ourselves and our lives past the boundary of our current position.
It is said that when one loses their identity in the pursuit of perfect action, a natural unity of life is reached. A place where those who observe can no longer distinguish the dancer from the dance, the singer from the song, or the artist from his work. It is in this place man exhibits his capacity to effortlessly expand himself in perfect harmony with nature, forming both unity of purpose and existence.
It is my complete desire to expand myself past my own position and to inspire others to do the same. It is my intent to exhibit work that is both of me and through me. Work that is seen as an action of my soul’s desire to expand past the boundaries that confine it to this mortal plane.”
