ALVAN’s Made Here Invitational

A reception for this exhibition will be held in the gallery on Friday, September 18th, from 6-7:30pm. Made Here is the third annual invitational exhibition presented by the Alabama Visual Arts Network (ALVAN), celebrating the exceptional visual art being created across Alabama.

Selected by invitation from ALVAN’s Board of Directors, participating artists represent a broad cross-section of Alabama’s vibrant visual arts community. Working in a variety of media, these artists reflect the creativity, craftsmanship, and diverse perspectives that define Alabama’s contemporary arts landscape.

Hosted by the Carnegie Visual Arts Center, Made Here invites visitors to discover exceptional work, connect with artists from across the state, and celebrate the creativity being made here in Alabama.

The mission of The Alabama Visual Arts Network is to support and promote visual art and artists through education, public engagement, and professional development. They serve as an advisory panel to assist visual artists and organizations in consolidating professional projects that further visual art excellence for the mutual improvement, cultural benefit and social enlightenment of artists and the public.
