Embracing Art XXII

The Carnegie Visual Arts Center presents the 22nd annual exhibit Embracing Arts, A Coming Together of Amateur & Professional Artists from April 16th-May 25th, 2024.

Events to be held in celebration of this exhibit are:

Embracing Art XXII  Open House & Awards Presentation,
Tuesday, April 16th, 10:00-5:00

All-day Open House and winners of the Embracing Art exhibit will be announced in the Gallery by Executive Director, Kim Mitchell at 12:15.

Artist Reception, Friday, April 19th, 6:00-7:30 pm
Join us for the Artists’ Reception of Embracing Art, A Coming Together of Amateur and Professional Artists. Members-FREE and Guests-$5. Appetizers and a cash bar will be available.

Embracing Art is an annual juried exhibit featuring works by North Alabama-connected artists and was the inaugural exhibit for the Carnegie Visual Arts Center in April 2003. The exhibit includes works in multiple media including pencil, watercolor, oil, acrylic, clay, and mixed media. The artists are included in the exhibit from their submitted applications including photographs of up to two pieces of their art.
