From Hand to Hand– Creativity as Legacy—Works by Mother and Daughter, Rebecca Sower & Erin Clemmons

This exhibition features the artwork of the mother-daughter duo, Rebecca Sower and Erin Clemmons. Rebecca’s work is heavily influenced by the creative process of layering textiles and often shares the characteristics of quilting. Erin works in clay and creates pottery and sculpture. She has made her own way as an artist—building from the family legacy of creativity—oscillating between function and pure form, between the everyday object and the art piece.
