Round Table Discussion of Careers in the Arts

Join David Gordon and Rebecca Poole Burns to discuss the opportunities of careers in digital film arts that are available to new graduates and those wanting a new start.
David Gordon, a graduate of Parsons, has art directed and worked on visual development, layout, and character design for numerous production companies from Lucasfilm to Pixar, including such movies as Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., A Bug’s Life, and Cars; BlueSky’s Robots and Nickelodeon’s Spongebob Squarepants.
Rebecca Poole Burns, a graduate of Vanderbilt, worked for Colossal Pictures in San Francisco and later in Creative Development at Nickelodeon Movies in New York and Los Angeles. She owned Rebecca’s Furniture on Main Street in Downtown Franklin, TN. Rebecca moved back to her hometown of Decatur bringing her family and experience in the arts to our community.
