Celebrate North Alabama beauty and art through Plein Air. This is a 3-year collaborative event combining the efforts of Carnegie Visual Arts Center in Decatur, AL,  Kennedy-Douglass Center in Florence, AL and Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment in Huntsville, AL.

This year the event will be hosted by the Carnegie Visual Arts Center in Decatur, Alabama. The Plein Air Event will take place November 5th-11th and the finished pieces will be displayed in an exhibit from December 22, 2026 to February 13, 2027 at the Carnegie Visual Arts Center. There will be a reception held to celebrate the art and announce the award winners.
